The Austrian clothing supplier Wolford AG has filled its executive chair. On Wednesday, the company, which is part of the Chinese fashion group Lanvin Group, announced that the supervisory board had decided to appoint Marco Pozzo as CEO and chairman of the board, effective March 1.
Pozzo, who gained management experience at well-known companies such as Ermenegildo Zegna and Alessi over the course of his career, has been a member of the Wolford board since last summer and has previously held the position of deputy CEO.
Pozzo has proven himself on the board in recent months
The promotion that has now been decided is “due to Marco Pozzo’s achievements since he began working for Wolford AG,” according to a statement. As a board member, Pozzo “initiated and supported significant restructuring measures and initiatives to strengthen customer trust and supported the implementation of strategic priorities.” The duration of his existing appointment to the board remains unchanged and ends on July 7, 2028, the clothing provider said.
The CEO position at Wolford had been vacant since Regis Rimbert left the company in January 2025.
