Back on track for Federica Brignone and the Italians in the downhill trials in Soldeu, Andorra. In the first timed test the fastest was the Czech Ester Ledecka (1’33″39), ahead of Nicol Delago and Sofia Goggia, who finished at 37 and 43 hundredths. Among the fastest there is also Laura Pirovano, sixth at 59/100. At 1″58 and paired with teammate Elena Curtoni was Federica Brignone, who after the checks at J Medical decided to extend the season.

Thanks to the two Olympic gold medals in super-G and giant slalom won in Cortina, Fede has already qualified for the World Cup finals scheduled in Kvitfjell (Norway) from 21 to 25 March.
In Soldeu this weekend, a downhill (Friday) and two super-Gs (Saturday and Sunday) are scheduled, one is the recovery of the one canceled in Zauchensee.
