Julio Iglesias demands withdrawal of ‘defamatory’ statements from Deputy Prime Minister

Julio Iglesias is going to court because of statements made by Spanish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Employment Yolanda Díaz. The singer, who was discredited last month due to alleged sexual abuse and human trafficking, wants the politician to withdraw her ‘defamatory’ statements about him, Spanish media report. Iglesias is also asking for compensation.
