Officers urgently drove to Geldrop, where someone was allegedly trying to break into a car. The police hoped to catch the thief red-handed. That worked. But the fork turned out to be a bit different than the officers thought.
“We received a report that a passer-by had seen two people messing around with a car,” officers from the Dommelstroom region said. “On the spot it turned out that the owner of the car had left his car keys in the car.”
The men appeared to have worked inventively. “When we arrived, the two individuals were able to use duct tape to remove the car keys from the car.”
