“Anyone who runs will be shot”: Russian soldiers testify about executions and torture by their own commanders

Russian ex-soldiers have made serious accusations against their own army leadership in a BBC documentary. According to four soldiers, colleagues at the front in Ukraine were executed on the orders of their commanders because they refused to carry out orders or tried to flee. These executions would range from simple gunshots to forced self-sacrifice in so-called ‘fleshstorms’.
