Puma continues its collaboration with the British tannery Charles F. Stead and is bringing a new edition of the cult sneaker “Suede” onto the market.
The collection includes the three colorways “Honey Butter”, “Orange Glo” and “Puma Black” and uses handmade premium leather from England, Puma announced on Tuesday. For the current drop, Puma returns to the roots of the silhouette.
The material used is considered “one of the finest in the world” due to a special tanning process and is characterized by a particularly soft feel. As a tribute to the partnership, each pair is equipped with an original leather pendant.
The Suede, which began its journey in 1968 as a “lifestyle” shoe and became world famous thanks to legends such as US basketball player Walt “Clyde” Frazier, underlines its status as a cultural icon with this edition. The new edition will be available from February 28th in Puma’s physical and digital stores and at selected retailers.
