This is painful, according to TV critic Victor Vlam. “OnlyFans often has the name and reputation that you can make a lot of money with it and that it is a very lucrative business, but in this documentary you mainly see the downside of OnlyFans and that is extremely sad,” he says in his podcast Victor Indicates TV.
“At one point, Ferry’s manager says that he only earned 2,100 euros from OnlyFans the month before, and yes, that is of course not enough money to maintain his standard of living. That is simply not enough. When you consider how much he has earned with it in the past…”
30 thousand euros
Ferry makes a huge difference. “Five years ago, when he started, he told the press that in some months he earned more than 30,000 euros. If you reduce that amount to 2,100 euros, that is a huge difference. Maybe that 30,000 was also a bit exaggerated, but I believe that in the beginning as a celebrity (…) you can attract people to you.”
“The difficult thing about OnlyFans is being alone, and that is why I think it is more difficult than many people realize… To get a few people to become members for a month, that is still doable, and as a celebrity you have a lot of exposure, but you have to keep those people. That is where the big work goes and that is why it is difficult.”
Constant pressure
Followers who stay want more, Victor explains. “There is constant pressure on you from those fans, those subscribers, to go a step further. You can put another masturbation video online, but if you have already done it ten times, the eleventh is of course less interesting. Fans are constantly trying to tempt you to go a step further.”
However, it doesn’t help that Ferry’s appearance is under pressure due to his addictions, he continues. “That is not an advantage in that industry. It is also true that he has really deteriorated in terms of looks because of his lifestyle.”
Gym
Ferry’s lifestyle does not suit an OnlyFans career, Victor believes. “I don’t just mean the drugs, but also the fact that he says he doesn’t go to the gym anymore. That’s not very good if you want to be on OnlyFans.”
He concludes: “I think this is the end of the matter. All in all it’s a sad, sad, sad picture that you see.”
