Paul de Leeuw has been put through the wringer in recent weeks because of the embarrassing way in which his TV career is going down, but now Yvonne Coldeweijer is also coming over him again.
Actually, everyone, except Patty Brard, agrees: it is sad how Paul de Leeuw is currently languishing on television. You grant a 63-year-old presenter with such a rich TV history a dignified exit, but what RTL is doing to him now is really too painful for words: he is currently making Ranking the Stars with reality leftovers like… Sjorleone. Phew.
Yvonne couldn’t
Yvonne Coldeweijer now reveals on her reopened juicechannel that she has also been asked for the current series of Ranking the Stars and that, given the program’s illustrious past, she was interested in it.
She was almost there, according to the juice guzzler. “I was asked for this season of Ranking the Stars. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend during the recording days because I still thought that I would have recordings of my own program and I thought that was a shame!”
Deterioration
Yvonne was actually supposed to appear with her daily program De Juice, but that was canceled due to arguments behind the scenes. That show was the reason for Paul de Leeuw to cancel. At the time she still thought it was a shame. “I felt like roasting celebrities.”
How does she look at it now? “Afterwards I’m so glad it didn’t happen. What a disaster! Did you watch it?”
67 percent
Even Yvonne’s riotous supporters no longer warm to Paul. No fewer than 67 percent of her followers indicate that the current Ranking the Stars series does not appeal to them.
Only 194 thousand people watched Ranking the Stars last weekend. That is an alarmingly low number for a large channel like RTL 4.
