Written entirely by Mara Sattei – And produced by brother thasup (Davide Sattei), Dona and Enrico BrunIl – The things you don’t know about me comes from a deep conviction: the best love stories are the ones where everything it happens in a simple way and natural. In the song, the singer talks about falling in love which takes shape slowly, which grows because it leaves space and does not ask to be different from what we are.
The piece highlights not only Mara Sattei’s writing, but also her vocal qualities and interpretative. Musically articulated, The things you don’t know about me contains a chorus with a wide opening that enhances the extension and sensitivity of the voicewith changes in tone and refined dynamics that underline its complexity. The genesis of the song is equally significant: the piece was born spontaneously, almost instinctivelyand fully reflects the artist’s stylistic signature and musical vision.
