Bye Bye New York, welcome to London. Once the fashion shows in the Big Apple are over, it’s time to fly in the shadow of Big Ben: London Fashion Week is back, scheduled from 19 to 23 February 2026. Brit Fashion Week opens with a tribute show to one of its historical figures, the designer Paul Costelloewho passed away last November. And it ends, as usual, with the parade Burberry by Daniel Lee.
In the middle of, old glories and new names ahead of the British fashion scene: from Harris Reed to Erdem, passing through Toga and Joseph. New/old entry, John Richmond showing on February 23; Jonathan Anderson’s JW Anderson brand, however, is absent and is currently focused on his new role as creative director at Dior.
London Fashion Week 2026, the first trends
The Irish-American fashion designer among the veterans of London Fashion Week has passed away at the age of 80, Paul Costelloe. Lady D’s favorite designer comes to life on the catwalk on the first day of fashion showson February 19, 2026, with an emotional show celebrating his legacy. «A new season. A powerful moment. A legacy that moves forward” writes his son William Costelloe, now at the helm of the brand, on social media.
And on the catwalk there are modern clothes that revive the heritage of the brand, a protagonist in London since 1984: blazers, above all, in all styles but always characterized by the check and Prince of Wales print, a constant of the brand. Worn especially in a mini dress version, they launch the first trend from the London fashion shows, already seen in New York: the return of the men’s jacket that is worn like a dresswith very sheer tights and pumps.
London Autumn Winter 2026/2027 fashion shows, the most original looks
London Fashion Week, as we know, is always the homeland of new designers. What emerges are little or no-known brands, which present more original looks than ever. Now it’s time to Kseniaschnaiderffounded in 2011 by spouses Ksenia Schnaider and Anton Schnaider. Theirs is a particular casual style, presented with the Autumn Winter 2026/2027 collection: dresses, skirts and shirts “multitasking” denim with allover pocket appliqués, color-block velvet effect jeans, apron-style work belts and exaggerated proportions.
