Vocalist Jari Sillanpää60, says Instagram– in his publication about his recovery from surgery. Sillanpää underwent hip surgery in January.
– It’s been five weeks since I got a titanium joint in my hip. Today I had a final inspection and everything is fine! Sillanpää says in his publication.

In January, Sillanpää told Iltalehte that in the operation, his right hip was cut and a titanium artificial joint was inserted. He said that he had been suffering from osteoarthritis of the hip joint for years. Four years ago Sillanpää had surgery on his left hip.
– Before the first surgery, I had suffered from pain for two or three years. I was waiting for a miracle cure and the guys rushed to the surgery. In the final stages, it was such that I limped onto the stage and sat through half of the songs, the singer recalled.
– Even now, during the autumn and Christmas tours, I was sometimes really sore. I had to walk carefully. It was heavenly to get surgery, he said.

Shortly after the operation, Sillanpää said that he was discharged from the hospital. At that time, Sillanpää shared a video on his Instagram where he was standing with walking sticks and balloons around him.
– Today I came home with a new hip. Now a moment to rest, recover in peace, and then get back on the track even stronger. Future gigs will be announced soon. Stay tuned, Sillanpää wrote in connection with his video.
The singer has been in a whirlwind of controversy in recent years. Between 2017 and 2019, Sillanpää received several sentences for both drug possession and use.
