The Düsseldorf-based e-commerce group The Platform Group SE & Co. KGaA promoted two proven executives on Wednesday.

According to the company, Nathalie Richert, who previously held the position of Head of Investor Relations, was “appointed a member of the C-level” and took over the management of the Human Resources/HR department in addition to her previous tasks.

“I am very pleased to be taking on this new responsibility. Our group will soon grow to over 2,000 employees, meaning that HR will play a central role,” explained Richert in a statement. “At the same time, I look forward to further advancing our developments in the area of ​​investor relations.”

In addition, Christoph Hies, who has been with the company for six years, was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and will in future be responsible for the group’s entire marketing activities.

“We have been actively advancing marketing activities at TPG for six years. There are now over 26 industries in which we are active and pursue our marketing approach,” emphasized Hies. “I am looking forward to bringing our marketing areas together even better at TPG’s management level in the future and to rigorously pursuing the successful approach to new acquisitions.”

The two new additions complement the existing management team, which continues to include CEO Dominik Benner, Christoph Wilhelmy (COO), Sven Schumann (CPM), Bjoern Minnier (M&A/Finance), Sven Hülsenbeck (CTO) and Frederic von Borries (CPO).

CEO Benner commented on the promotions: “We are implementing what we announced: We are consistently pushing forward internationalization as already announced in 2025, specifically strengthening our management team and working on making 2026 a very successful year,” he explained in a statement. “The current development in the first quarter makes us positive about achieving this goal.”
