There is now a debate in Britain about the role of Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice in the Epstein scandal.

The princesses’ parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, were in close contact with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the latest evidence, the relationship between Ferguson and Epstein has been closer than previously thought.

Ferguson needed money. One published e-mail chain shows that Ferguson asked Epstein for 20,000 euros in rent in 2009. Ferguson needed the money urgently. He said in his e-mail message that his landlord had threatened to turn to the press if the money did not arrive in his account.

Daughters as pawns

The Telegraph has interviewed royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliamswhich estimated that Ferguson used his daughters as pawns to get access to Epstein’s money.

The names of the princesses were mentioned several times in the latest Epstein files. The late Epstein has also asked the princesses to meet different people several times. Once he asked princesses to introduce Buckingham Palace to their business associates.

Ferguson also arranged meetings with Epstein and his daughters.

– By bringing them [tyttäret] along to lunch, you add special prestige to the situation. That a mother can do that is the epitome of greed. It’s their exploitation, assuming that actually happened, Fitzwilliams says.

Interviewed by the BBC author Andrew Lowniewho previously wrote a book about Andrew. According to Lownie, the princesses cannot be considered innocent and innocent, as they were 19 and 20 years old at the time of the meetings. Lownie says that it is easy to look at the matter critically now that Epstein’s atrocities have come to light, but at the time no one paid any attention to the matter. It was believed that the mother only took her daughters on trips to the United States.

– They were not 5-year-old children when they were taken to see Epstein. They were adults, Lownie said.

Interviewed by People the writer Robert Jobson is on different lines.

– I am shocked by what has been revealed. They were young. If your parents ask to meet their friends, you don’t know how to question it at that age.
