One of the longest running characters is leaving the Emmerdale series.
Isabel Hodgins has been involved in the soap series since she was a child.

British actress Isabel Hodgins leave the popular Emmerdaleseries, news The Sun. He has been acting for almost 20 years by Victoria Sugden in the role. Hodgins was only 12 years old when he started in the favorite series.
The reason for leaving is a family situation. Hodgins will soon give birth to her first child.
– Emmerdale is everything I’ve ever known. But pregnancy does funny things and the truth is I felt ready to not have to film Emmerdale, the actress said in an interview with The Sun magazine.
Hodgins married her sweetheart Adam in April last year. The actor says in the interview that the couple lives in Manchester. Long work trips to the filming location in Leeds exhausted the actor.
– I am so excited that I will become a mother for the first time, and this will be by far my biggest role ever.
The actor has strong faith in his spouse.
– Adam will be a great father. He puts his heart into everything he does and we both feel very lucky to have a child.

The favorite actor may return to the series in the future.
– They said it’s up to me when I come back to the soap, which is lovely. I’ve been on Emmerdale for 19 years and it’s been a huge part of my life. Everyone has been so nice.
Hodgins is grateful for the lessons he received.
– I didn’t know anything and I had to learn on the job, but over time I’ve learned that everyone in Emmerdale has an incredible work ethic. Everyone works so hard.
