Rob Goossens, the TV expert from RTL Boulevard, strongly suspects that Victor Vlam already has a contract with Talpa. However, that seems to be nonsense. “You’re a sweetheart, but you better do your homework.”
It will undoubtedly feel like a great compliment to Victor Vlam. None other than Johan Derksen himself nominates him to fill the so-called ‘Johan Derksen role’ in Hélène Hendriks’ talk show. She has a big problem now that Jack van Gelder is out due to misconduct and only Rutger Castricum remains.
Talpa contract
In fact, everyone agrees that Rutger is simply too boring for that position, so according to Johan there is only one thing to do: sign Victor. According to 68 percent of the viewers, he is indeed the best sidekick for Hélène, followed by Valentijn Driessen and Rutger Castricum with both only 16 percent, according to a poll on this site.

Nonsense, says Victor. “That is not the case. I simply have freelance agreements for the programs I participate in.”
Rob: “Well…”
Victor surprised: “What do you mean by this reaction?”
Rob points out that Victor can also be seen regularly in News of the Day. “You have a contract with Talpa, not with the programs, right? Substantial difference.”
Booked regularly
There is a nice deal between Victor and Talpa, says Rob. “If it is a normal agreement, why do I hear from News of the Day that you are supposed to be booked on a regular basis because otherwise it costs the channel money for nothing?”
Victor thinks Rob has a really big thumb. “Hahaha, no. You’re a sweetheart, but next time do your homework better. I hope to one day get such a fantastic deal as you did with Boullie.”
Rob is paid per performance by Boulevard, but has stipulated a minimum number of performances per week.
