Actor June Brown has died at the age of 95 years.
Brown is especially remembered for his role in Dot Cotton in the British EastEnders series since 1985. He only left the series a couple of years ago at the age of 93.
A EastEnders spokesman has confirmed to the media that Brown died on Sunday.
– There are not enough words to tell how loved and adored June was in the EastEnders family. His warmth and awesome humor will remain in our minds.
– Rest in peace, the spokesman wrote.

Brown’s family has said the actor slept peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
The actor had a long career in television, but he also had screen roles. Brown was seen in movies, for example Psychomania, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Mambo Kings and Mr. Bean.
Brown won Best Actress in the Inside Soap Awards in 2005 and received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards.
Brown has also published a book Before the Year Dot.
He was married twice: in the 1950s John Garley and since 1958 Robert Arnoldin with. Arnold died in 2003, so Brown was a widow at the time.
He had five children.
