Vooruit wants to temporarily exempt informal caregivers from unemployment restrictions

Pending a final regulation, Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) and Minister of Equal Opportunities Rob Beenders (Vooruit) propose that recognized informal caregivers should temporarily not be subject to the unemployment benefit restriction. This proposal follows the alarm that six recognized informal care associations raised last week and their call for a financial safety net for informal caregivers.
