Soufiane El-Faouzi from FC Schalke 04 has tipped the 21st Bundesliga matchday for Transfermarkt. The midfielder, who moved from Alemannia Aachen to the Royal Blues in the summer, is counting on a confident victory for the record champions (2-0) in the top game between FC Bayern and TSG Hoffenheim, which will allow them to move further away at the top of the table. In the 23-year-old’s eyes, pursuers Dortmund can’t go beyond a draw at VfL Wolfsburg (2:2). Join now and type yourself!

The quartet between 4th and 7th place is not showing any weakness this weekend, according to El-Faouzi: VfB Stuttgart exacerbates FC St. Pauli’s crisis and wins 3-0 at Millerntor. Leipzig retains the upper hand in Cologne (2-1), Bayer Leverkusen gets its third league win in a row on the Lower Rhine and beats Mönchengladbach 3-1. SC Freiburg is also getting back on the road to success in veteran Matthias Ginter’s 400th Bundesliga game (click here for the TM interview) in front of their home crowd. With the 2-0 win against Werder Bremen, Breisgau’s new coach Daniel Thioune spoiled his debut and allowed the decline of the Green and Whites, who are one of the weakest teams in Europe’s top leagues, to continue.
Albert Riera didn’t fare any better in his first appearance on the sidelines of Eintracht Frankfurt: According to El-Faouzi, the Hessians lost 1-2 at Union Berlin, which would only result in one win from the last ten games. The Köpenickers, on the other hand, are happy about the first threesome in 2026. While Mainz and Augsburg draw (1:1), 1. FC Heidenheim becomes the big winner in the relegation battle, according to El-Faouzi: With the 1-0 win against Hamburger SV, Frank Schmidt’s team gives up the Red Lantern again and stays in touch with the non-relegation places.
