Fayza Lamari receives a generous reward for being part of Kylian’s team Mbappé. The mother of the French star has signed a contract that guarantees her 4.5 million euros net per year. This is a higher salary than that received by Arda GulerBrahim DiazRaúl AsencioFrank MastantuonoGonzalo Garcia, Lunin, Endrick and Fran Garcia. This is because the Real Madrid striker agreed to give her 30% of his earnings.
Fayza Lamari is not only Mbappé’s mother, but also responsible for his personal, professional and financial life. According to Spanish newspapers, however, the “negotiation” between mother and son was far from easy. In an interview, Lamari revealed that she had had strong discussions with the class of ’98 on the topic. She wanted 50% of his salary but he replied: “Never! I won’t even give you half of it! What’s wrong with you? I’m the one who scores the goals, how can you expect 50%?“.
But Fayza insisted that if the salary was not split equally she would quit. Mbappé had proposed 30% but the mother immediately sent the proposal back to the sender. Considering that Mbappé earns 15 million euros net (excluding transfer bonuses), Fayza Lamari would receive around 4.5 million euros net per year. However, much of this money goes to the French Star Foundation, through which Kylian and his family help disadvantaged children.
