A motorist was seriously injured last night in an accident on Borgerderstraat (N857) near Nooitgedacht. The accident happened around 3:30 am.
The car left the road for an unknown reason. One person was seriously injured, the police said on X. Another passenger was also injured and taken to hospital.
The road between Rolde and Papenvoort is temporarily closed for research and assistance.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
