Actress Claire Foy, 41, suffered from parasitic infection for five years, reports BBC.
Foy talked about it on the Table Manners podcast.
– I had parasites a few years ago. Disgusting, Foy said.
– I kept losing weight and I didn’t know what it was about. They travel in pairs. The doctor told me, disgusting, absolutely nauseating, Foy said.
Foy believes he was infected while traveling in Morocco.
Foy had to change his diet because of the infection. Among other things, he gave up caffeine.
Foy says she also suffers from an unrelated autoimmune disorder, which causes her to avoid eating gluten and sugar.
