Joggers from furniture store stunt on red sofa during code red: ‘Our furniture is sliding out the door!’

The prize for originality undoubtedly goes to a furniture store in the Groningen village of Uithuizermeeden. While code red has a stranglehold on the north of the country, employees decided to make a virtue of necessity. Footage shows them running out of the store with a bright red sofa and sliding for meters. “We make the best of code red,” jokes a store employee.
