Due to several accidents on the road, there is chaos on the highways. There was a traffic jam on the A8 between Zaanstad-Assendelft and the Zaandam junction at 7 a.m. due to an accident. The left lane is closed there. The delay quickly increased to an hour.
There is also a major traffic jam on the A9 between the Badhoevedorp junction and Amstelveen-Stadshart due to an accident involving a truck. The road is closed there. Traffic can take a detour via Amsterdam-Zuid on the A4, A10 and A2.
Although there is also a traffic jam on the A10 between the Watergraafsmeer junction and the Coenplein junction due to a broken down truck.
It is now silting up on all surrounding roads.
