For one reason or another, Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of sexual crimes, was not enthusiastic about the event hosted by the Swedish royals.
The invitation did not come from royalty, but from the businessman’s ex-girlfriend, a Swede From Eva Dubin.
It was The World Childhood Foundation’s gala in New York in 2015. Queen Silvia of Sweden hosted the event. Princess Madeleine was also supposed to play the same role, but her participation was cancelled.
Swedish Expressen tells about the conversation between Dubin and Epstein, which was revealed among the most recent documents.
– Would you be interested? Dubin asked in his email.
– No, replied Epstein.
– Same here, Dubin answered with a smile.
It is not clear from the conversation why the event did not interest the businessman.
The Childhood organization aims to prevent violence and sexual abuse against children. Themes are highlighted at the annual gala.
It is not clear why Dubin was invited to the event. He received an invitation from an employee of the organization, Expressen says.
Dubin, who works as a doctor, has founded a clinic specializing in breast cancer in New York. Queen Silvia visited the clinic in 2012, i.e. three years before the gala in question, Expressen says.
Epstein and Eva Dubin dated in the 1980s.
Queen Silvia founded The World Childhood Foundation in 1999. PDO
