What BTS did during the break
In recent years, the members have increasingly concentrated on solo projects and taken individual musical paths. At the same time, several members completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. Despite the group’s hiatus, BTS remained present through solo albums, collaborations and public appearances. The comeback in 2026 marks the first time that the band will have a joint, long-term phase.
World tour starts in April
The tour in support of “Arirang” begins on April 9, 2025 in Goyang, South Korea and is scheduled to run through March 2027. Multi-day performances are planned in international cities, including Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Manila.
