A driver, under the influence and without a driver’s license, caused a lot of danger on the road in Teteringen and Oosterhout on Monday morning. After a dangerous chase, the police were able to arrest the man. He is suspected of attempted manslaughter, among other things.
The police stopped the motorist in Teteringen. The driver ignored this and then drove into Oosterhout at high speed. The man drove faster than 100 kilometers per hour on a road where only 30 is allowed.
The driver also tried to ram the police car during the chase. Ultimately, the man drove himself into a post. He then fled on foot, but was unable to shake off the police and was arrested.
