The expert encourages breaking the old rules and choosing jewelry that brings joy and endures time. You should also forget the age-old rule that silver and gold jewelry cannot be worn at the same time.

We asked the readers of Iltalehti to name their favorite jewelry. A total of 1562 of our readers answered the survey.
By far the most popular (41 percent) were earrings. Rings were favorite jewelry for 24 percent of the respondents. The third most popular necklaces were most preferred by 15 percent of the respondents.
