Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre has taken a stand on Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s connections with the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Mette-Marit’s name is mentioned in the Epstein disclosure documents released on Friday Expressen’s included more than a thousand times.
The former Prime Minister of Norway, Thorbjørn Jagland, has also had connections with Epstein. the BBC according to Jagland had planned a family vacation on Epstein Island, but he canceled the plan.
Jagland is expected to comment on the matter on Monday.
Støre now comments that Mette-Marit and former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland must comment on the truthfulness of their connections with Epstein. According to Støre, the documents published over the weekend contain information that was previously unknown. According to Støre, the extent of the contacts must be told.
Mette-Marit has been patron of the Norwegian Red Cross since 2005. The organization now holds a Norwegian of TV2 including the crisis meeting about the future.

Mette-Marit herself commented on her Epstein connections to NRK.
– I have to take responsibility for not checking Epstein’s background better and for not understanding quickly enough what kind of person he was, Mette-Marit said.
The meetings between the Crown Princess and Epstein took place between 2011 and 2013. The Crown Princess stopped communicating with Epstein in 2013.
