SM league clubs Porin Ässät and Helsinki IFK inform about the exchange of two players. According to the clubs, Ässät and HIFK have agreed on a player transfer, with which Canadian striker Sean Josling will move to Ässä and the smart winger Lassi Vanhatalo will switch to IFK Helsinki.

If you don’t see the update below, you can also find it from here.

Josling, 26, joined HIFK’s journey in the fall. He had time to knock in 26 matches, 6+5=11.

Vanhatalo, 28, scored 10+10=20 in 43 regular season matches for Pada last season. This season, 4+6=10 points have been registered in 36 matches for the two-meter-tall attacker.

Iltalehti already reported in November that Vanhatalo is switching to HIFK for the next season. Now the transfer was accelerated in a remarkable way.

The SM league clubs have made trades in recent days. Ilves and Kiekko-Espoo announced on Friday that striker Peter Quenneville will switch to Ilves, from which striker Lukas Svejkovsky is going in the other direction.
