Saara Keskitalo25, ran to victory in the 60-meter hurdles in Val-de-Reuil, France on Sunday.
Keskitalo, which was on the verge of a record in the current administration, improved its own peak time again. The new record was set with a time of 7.95. The previous record set a week ago in Poland was a hundredth slower.
– On my scale, the start of the run was good and so was the acceleration. It made it easier to continue, and the pace is picking up pretty well now. I also stay well on the run, Keskitalo said in SUL’s press release.
The victory came from a tight battle. French Laëticia for Babté time 7.95 was also recorded. Third ran the US Alaysha Johnson (7.96).
Keskitalo is third in Finland’s all-time statistics. Above are Reetta Hurske (7.79) and Nooralotta Neziri (7.91).
