Peter Bosz (62) has extended his contract with the PSV for two years. The Eindhoven football club announced this shortly after the match with Feyenoord. Bosz will sign until mid-2028. He does not want to say anything about the contents of the contract yet.
For a long time it was questionable whether Bosz would sign again at all, but now the decision has been made. The news came out shortly after the 3-0 win. “I am very happy with this contract extension and hope that we will win many more trophies together,” Bosz said in an initial response.
The coach started at PSV in the summer of 2023 as a replacement for the resigned Ruud van Nistelrooij. During this period he won the national title twice and the Johan Cruijff Shield twice. PSV is on a roll again this year and a new national title is almost impossible to miss.
Negotiations on a new contract have been going on for some time. Bosz has never made a secret of his desire to one day become national coach of the Dutch national team. Only after the World Cup next summer will it become clear whether current national coach Ronald Koeman will continue. PSV did not want to wait any longer with a view to the new season and general manager Marcel Brands made Bosz a final proposal a few weeks ago.
“It’s no secret that I’m having a great time at PSV,” says Bosz. “Just enjoying it now, even after the beautiful victory over Feyenoord, and then fully focus on the cup match against SC Heerenveen.”

Earnest Stewart, director of football affairs at PSV, is also happy. “We are very pleased with Peter and have been working together fantastically for two and a half seasons. He has not only achieved enormous sporting success, but has also established a clear playing style and culture within the club that everyone can agree with,” he says.
“The development of the team and individual players is impressive and fits perfectly with PSV’s ambitions. We are confident that we will experience many great moments together in the coming years.”
