It was cringeworthy television: the performance of fake baby Noa Vahle at the table of a jubilant Eva Jinek. Doesn’t her mother Linda de Mol actually think so too? “I was moved.”

© RTL

Noa Vahle has something about her that bothers a lot of people. Of course, it all starts with the fact that she is a nepo baby and can therefore go straight to the front of the line purely on the basis of her last name, but there is also no smell or taste to it. She is humorless, too measured and correct, says media journalist Mark Koster.

What does Linda think?

Anyway: last week she sat at Eva Jinek’s table without any reason and she pretended that Noa is the greatest talent that has ever walked around the Media Park. Really very exaggerated and a clear attempt to get her troubled mother Linda de Mol to sit at the table. An interview that would never work due to a conflict of interest.

The big question is: will Eva succeed? Linda reacts in front of the camera of – how could it be otherwise – Show news and yes, she turns out to be extremely lyrical. So Eva’s mission has been accomplished. “I was a bit touched that she was sitting there with Eva. She looked so beautiful and she talks so easily. But hey, I’m her mother and of course I’m very proud of her.”

Not neutral

Noa shone at Eva’s talk show table, Linda thinks. “I thought she did a great job, but am I neutral? No. I am her mother! I am certainly very proud of how she is doing everything and she also expresses very well that she feels like she has to prove herself extra and that is of course true.”

“People will say: ‘Yes, it’s easy how she got that job’, but she does her very best, and she works very hard, she prepares very well and she knows what she’s talking about, she is never late and works very long hours and days, because she wants to prove: I can really do something. I understand that that is sometimes difficult.”

Fallacy

Linda consciously makes that eternal crucial ‘mistake’ surrounding fake babies: after all, it is not about how Noa does her job, but about how she got that job. In a dishonest way. There are countless boys and girls around who would have loved to work long hours, but have no chance because Noa is Linda’s daughter.

On to the most hilarious part of the Shownieuws broadcast: the experts at the desk who rave about everything called De Mol or related to it. Show expert Eline de Ruig: “I actually thought it was a very nice interview. Nice to get to know Noa a little better, but she received quite a lot of criticism.”

‘Who criticized?’

Celebrity expert Bart Ettekoven is angling for a raise and pretending his nose is bleeding. “Then who had that criticism?”

Eline: “Yes, Tina Nijkamp among others.”

Bart: “Ah, Tina shouldn’t complain!”

Dyantha Brooks: “Tina is just not a fan of Eva!”

Eline concludes: “I would recommend watching the interview again, because I would like to hear more from Noa, that she says: ‘I am that daughter of’, and: ‘Everyone always thinks that I have a wheelbarrow and that is why I am successful in the TV world, but I work really hard for it.’”

Beautiful. Can someone hand out the fragment at the Talpa offices?
