The Friday evening games of the 2nd Bundesliga only have one winner on matchday 20: Hannover 96. Christian Titz’s team won in Magdeburg and remained in the promotion race.
The game in Magdeburg had to be interrupted after a few minutes: the smoke from the pyrotechnics significantly impaired visibility. It only continued after an interruption of almost ten minutes. Magdeburg had the first big chance, but Hannover took the lead through Daisuke Yokota (38th). After Baris Atik’s equalizer (53′), Enzo Leopold (56′) put the Hanoverians back in the lead.
