Swiss food giant Nestlé denies that it responded too late to problems with contaminated baby milk. However, the company was already aware of the presence of the toxic substance cereulide at the end of November, while the first recall was only initiated eleven days later. According to Nestlé, the allegations are untrue and the company acted correctly at every crucial moment.
