DFrom 2 to 6 February 2026, here’s how the traffic in Milan will change for the opening of the Winter Olympic Games.

Monday 2 February: from 2pm to midnight traffic prohibited in Piazza della Scala, via Manzoni, via Case Rotte, Largo Mattioli and in the adjacent streets for the presentation of the Games to the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, which will be held at 5pm at the Teatro alla Scala.

Thursday 5 February from around 2.00pm to 7.30pm the Olympic torch will enter the city saying goodbye to the Olympic Village and heading towards Piazza Duomo, passing by City Life, Sant’Ambrogio, Porta Venezia and San Babila. Roads closed and repercussions on ATM lines.

Always Thursday 5 February, at the Fabbrica del Vaporethe welcome dinner at the International Olympic Committee is planned. Olympic Village (Ripamonti): from 26 January to 20 March, via Lorenzini and via Ripamonti closed.
MiCo (Fair): from 25 January to 23 February, via Scarampo and viale Teodorico closed.
Westin Palace (Republic): from 31 January to 23 February, closure on the via Panfilo Castaldi side.
Giureconsulti Palace: until February 23rd, parking bans in via Mercanti and via Santa Margherita.
Ice Hockey Arena (Santa Giulia): from 5 to 22 February, blocks in via Bonfadini and via Mecenate.
