A motorist was injured this evening when his car ended up in a ditch near Nieuw-Weerdinge. The accident happened on the Oude Weerdingerdijk.
The car probably left the road due to slippery conditions and ended up in the ditch.
The fire brigade freed the victim from the car. The injured motorist was taken to a hospital.
