“It concerns about ten lines that are affected,” says Koen Meersseman, chairman of the Westhoek transport region. “During off-peak hours, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., the frequency will be reduced because there are too few travelers. People do not want to run empty buses. That is a well-founded exercise. Every change obviously has an impact, but it remains limited here.”
