There is a good chance that Middelkerke will soon have a new policy team. At the request of the general director and the existing policy team, the organizing communication and participation service is therefore postponing the first two ‘Multi-year plan on tour’. Although the multi-year plan has been fully approved, the board wants to give the newly appointed policy team sufficient time to prepare for these village meetings.
The village meetings on Tuesday, February 3 in Lombardsijde, February 9 in Westende and February 24 in Middelkerke will be postponed to a later date. This way, Middelkerke can speak to the population in a good way. We are now working quickly on these new moments, because the population must be well informed and be able to ask sufficient questions.
The editions of Leffinge (March 2) and Slijpe (March 17) will take place at the planned times and places at 7 p.m. For practical reasons, attention would also be paid to the multi-year plan during the information moment about the new passage through Lombardsijde. Middelkerke leaves that out. The information moment about the new passage will of course continue as planned on Tuesday, February 3 in the Lombardsijde football canteen, from 4 p.m.
