Finnish defender Jykevä of the Philadelphia Flyers Rasmus Ristolainen was injured last night against Columbus.

Ristolainen played only two 30-second shifts in the opening set before leaving the match. The team announced in the middle of the game that the defender is suffering from a “lower body injury”.

Konkaripaki’s injury is a bad setback for Leijon, as Ristolainen was selected for the Finnish Olympic team. The severity of the injury is not yet known. The Lions’ Olympic tournament starts on February 11. with a match against Slovakia.

Among the players selected for the Finnish Olympic team, the goalkeeper also suffered from injuries Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and defender Niko Mikkola.
