Man on sailing boat who was missing for two weeks, rescued in the Mediterranean

A missing man in his sixties has been found in the Mediterranean after at least eleven days. Spanish emergency services say the search had already been halted when a plane from EU border service Frontex spotted the man’s sailing boat. He gestured that he needed help and could be picked up by a freighter.
