The Alpine Skiing World Cup continues on Wednesday with the slalom in Schladming, Austria.
Finnish Star Eduard Hallberg finished sixth in the bread category in the opening round. The first round is still in progress, but Norway holds the top spot Atle Lie McGrath.
Hallberg was 0.82 seconds behind the Norwegian who started the race in first place.
There is also competition for Finns in Schladming Jesper Pohjolainenwhich counts with the number 56.
The atmosphere at the race venue is on the roof, as the roar of the audience can be heard until the TV broadcast. According to Kronen Zeitung no fewer than 22,500 spectators are present at the sold-out event.
Kalle Palander won Schladming slalom in 2003 and 2006. In 2004 he was third.
The first round is over.
