A man (36) from Tilburg was seriously injured during lifting work in Giessenburg, South Holland. The victim was given a tiny house. The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
The Labor Inspectorate will investigate the accident that happened on the Doetseweg, says a police spokesperson who cannot say anything further about the circumstances.
In local and regional media it is reported that it concerns a 14-ton structure that came loose during the hoisting and landed on the victim. The police cannot confirm that.
