On average, 35 analysts estimate that earnings of $3.91 per share were achieved in the past quarter. That would be an increase of 21.05 percent compared to EPS in the same quarter last year, when it achieved $3.23 per share.
Compared to the same period last year, Microsoft is said to have achieved a sales increase of 15.33 percent in the quarter that ended in December. 42 analysts see sales at an average of USD 80.31 billion. In the same quarter last year, there were still $69.63 billion on the books.
For the fiscal year, 52 analysts now expect earnings per share of USD 16.10 on average compared to USD 13.64 in the previous year. On average, 56 analysts see sales at USD 326.37 billion, compared to USD 281.72 billion last year.
