Yungblud explains: He knew nothing about the allegations against the Rammstein singer.
Yungblud received criticism for a social media post together with Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. Now the British rocker has commented on it.

Background: The musicians toured independently of each other in Australia and both had a stop in the city of Perth. They met here on January 21, 2026 and Lindemann posted a picture of the two of them on his Instagram account. Below he wrote: “It was an absolute pleasure meeting Yungblud in Perth.” He further wished him “have fun in Mumbai”.
Fans expressed disappointment
In 2023, allegations against the Rammstein singer were made. Several women accused him of allegedly drugging them after concerts and then allegedly forcing them to perform sexual acts. The singer’s legal team described these allegations as “universally untrue.” This came from a press release published on X, see here:
An investigation was initiated against the now 62-year-old in June 2023. However, this was discontinued after two months by the Berlin public prosecutor’s office and did not lead to any charges being brought before the court.
The public prosecutor’s office justified the discontinuation of the proceedings in an official press release dated August 29, 2023 (see in full on “Berlin.de”) as follows: “The evaluation of the available evidence – especially the press reporting, which refers to anonymous whistleblowers, as well as the additional questioning of witnesses – has not revealed any evidence that the accused carried out sexual acts on women against their will, or that they influenced their will -administered deactivating substances or exploited a power imbalance towards underage sexual partners in order to persuade them to have sexual intercourse.”
Nevertheless, Yungblud fans spoke up about exactly this in the comments of the Instagram post. They asked him to take a stand and also expressed their disappointment.
Yungblud replies
The “Zombie” interpreter has now commented on the criticism from his fans. He published an audio statement on his Instagram channel in which he said the following about the allegations against Till Lindemann: “I had no idea.” He continued: “At the moment, of course, I meet a lot of people every day without knowing exactly who they are or what they want. And I can assure you that if I had known about any allegations, everything would have been completely different. You all have always known what I stand for. I will pay attention to that in the future.”
