That happened quickly – and was to be expected: Tickets for BTS’s two concerts at the Allianz Arena in Munich sold out quickly. At 1:40 p.m. Ticketmaster reported: “There are currently no tickets available. This advance sale has now ended.” A strong performance with up to 77,000 seats per show. Does that mean that there really is no chance of being there anymore? Not quite.
BTS in Munich: Keep an eye on remaining tickets
As is often the case with hyped events, tickets sell out faster than you can buy them. However, there is still plenty of time until the events on July 11th and 12th to get remaining tickets. There are various options for this.
Remaining tickets on regular sale
On the one hand, you should keep an eye on the Ticketmaster website regularly. During the ordering process, it can occasionally result in payments not being processed or fraudulent activities being discovered by the ticket provider’s system. Individual tickets could be released again in the coming days. But since this has more to do with luck, you should also keep an eye on fans’ resale tickets.
Another tip: check with the ticket provider again a few weeks beforehand. For production reasons, tickets may then be offered again, for example for seats with restricted visibility.
Keep an eye on resale tickets
At Ticketmaster it is usual that the resale is only possible a few weeks before the show. This is how the ticket holders proceed: Select the tickets to be sold in their account, set the price and have the tickets paid for using their chosen payment method. The following applies to buyers: keep an eye out for the usual ticket providers. Just before the desired event, a few tickets still arrive, which you can then secure (hopefully at reasonable prices).
However, you should stay away from third-party sites or sales via social media. It cannot be ruled out that you could otherwise lose a lot of money through untested methods and not be granted access to the venue.
On the day of the concert itself, you can also try to get an unneeded ticket in front of the venue or join a fan group. However, the chances of getting in are then likely to be quite low.
Check business packages, VIP packages and special promotions
Although all of the business packages and VIP tickets offered are currently gone, this may change again in the coming months, as quotas are often reserved for certain partners or sponsors.
