FC Barcelona wins against Seville in Frankfurt dress rehearsal

Barcelona (dpa) – Four days before the quarter-finals first leg in the Europa League at Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Barcelona celebrated a successful dress rehearsal in the Spanish league.

The team with German national goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen won 1-0 (0-0) against FC Sevilla. In front of 76,112 spectators, Pedri (72nd minute) scored the decisive goal for the Catalans, who have now moved up to second place in the table with 57 points from 29 games. However, the gap to leaders Real Madrid, who have already played a game more, is twelve points.

This Thursday (9 p.m.) Barcelona will play their first competitive game in Frankfurt. The second leg for a place in the semi-finals against Eintracht is then on April 14 in Spain.
