BTS took a break from the big live business for four years. Now comes the long-awaited world tour by her fans – with two concerts in Munich in front of 75,000 people each in the Allianz Arena.
However, getting tickets is not an easy task. Ticketmaster’s pre-sales take place in two phases. There is an “Army Membership Presale” that started on January 22nd. Fan club members are given preferential treatment. However, you also had to register via the Weverse platform by January 18th and can only purchase cards in conjunction with a code.
Many BTS fans are now wondering whether they still have a chance of getting tickets for the shows in Munich or other cities (Madrid, Brussels, Paris and London are still on the European schedule) after the regular pre-sale.
Pre-sales for BTS start on Saturday (January 24th) at 1 p.m
On Saturday (January 24th) the regular presale starts at 1 p.m., for which no fan membership is required. In short, demand will be extremely high. Reddit reports already show that many fans had to contend with long queues during the pre-sale. German fans compete for tickets to Munich with an international audience.
There are no official figures as to how many tickets go into advance sales and how many end up in the pre-sale or are held back for special promotions. However, industry data shows that around 10 to 30 percent of comparable live events go to regular advance sales.
In other words, with 150,000 seats for two concerts, that would probably be “only” 15,000 – 45,000 tickets per gig.
This way you have a better chance of getting tickets for BTS
So if you want to take advantage of your chance to get tickets for BTS, you should be online at least 10-15 minutes before 1 p.m. Ticketmaster uses a queuing system, but anyone in the queue has no guarantee of getting tickets at all. Ideally, you should use multiple devices/browsers (one account per device), which can help you not only have one chance in the queue system.
If it is not initially successful, fans should continue to use the Ticketmaster app and re-sale options, as remaining stocks are sometimes visible there earlier. Returned tickets are often only released a few weeks before the concerts. Some fans of the KPop giants may also be put off by the high ticket prices.
