Runeberg tart is usually not left cold, it is either loved or hated. RONI LETHI
Turku bakery Rosten has announced a special campaign. It announces on its website that it is raffling off runeberg tart tattoos, the recipients of which will receive free runeberg tarts from Rosten for every Runeberg day for the rest of their lives. Runeberg day is 5.2.
The tattoos are done by a tattoo artist in Turku Jenny Kallio with the handpoke technique. Three tattoos will be drawn.
– We wanted to celebrate runeberg tarts, which are made in huge quantities every year and have a long tradition. It combines two things in a fun way, because runeberg tarts are almost forever and so are tattoos. That’s why we thought of trying something different like this, says Rosten’s marketing manager about the background of the draw Marko Perho For Iltalehti.
On the bakery’s website, it is reported that more than one million runeberg tarts are made in its shelters every year.
The story continues after the survey.
“Arouses a lot of discussion”
Perho says that the draw has been well received. By yesterday Thursday, there were already more than 500 participants. The feedback received from other sources has also been positive.
– Runebergintortuhan always arouses a lot of discussion. There are torturates and others. It’s a nice national topic, states Perho.
– It’s not a middle-of-the-road bun, but shares opinions and taste buds.

The rules of the raffle specify that the recipient of the tattoo must be of legal age. You can redeem a “reasonable amount” of tarts with a tattoo at Rosten’s factory store in Turku.
– I think it will be decided on a case-by-case basis. A reasonable amount is one that you have time to enjoy on Runeberg day. I don’t know how many runeberg tarts a person can eat in a day, but we promise to keep those who love runeberg tarts in this way full.
