STRASBOURG (dpa-AFX) – The European Commission around Ursula von der Leyen will have to face a vote of no confidence in the European Parliament on Thursday (from 12 p.m.). The necessary two-thirds majority for the initiative is considered very unlikely.
The applicants criticize the Commission for its approach to the free trade agreement with the four Mercosur states Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. It was signed on Saturday.
