The motorway is still the scene of clashes, disorders and tensions. This time between Fiorentina fans and Roma fans. The first headed to Bologna where the Apennine derby will be played at 3pm, a few hours after the death of president Rocco Commisso. The seconds head towards Turin where at 6pm Gasperini’s team will face the Granata. The crime occurred shortly after lunchtime, at kilometer 195 on the emergency lane towards Ancona.

Dozens and dozens of cars stopped here, from which many fans got out, hooded and with their faces distorted and covered by black masks. Some armed with clubs and sticks. Most were Fiorentina ultras who – according to initial reconstructions – stormed a transit where just under a dozen Roma fans were travelling. At that point other Giallorossi ultras arrived. A fight broke out in an attempt to “steal” patches and flags from the opponents. In the guerrilla warfare, several cars were also hit, including those of those who were passing along the lanes at the time. At the moment there are no injuries and traffic police and Digos officers intervened on the scene. All immortalized by some videos circulating on the web and which were filmed by passing motorists. Inconveniences on the motorway are inevitable, even if not as serious as those caused by the violent clashes between Romanist and Neapolitan ultras on the A1 in January 2023.
